Rising Glasgow singer-songwriter Liam Dutch has recently dropped his vibrant new single, "Settle Down". The single is his third ever and is quite possibly his most bright and sun-kissed one yet. There are some slight nods to fellow Glaswegian Gerry Cinnamon with his tambourine and warm guitar tones.
Liam is more than just that as his vocal tones are so calming and warming at the same time. There's a sense of familiarity here even though he's new to my ears there's something that makes me feel at ease, makes me feel at home.
Liam Dutch is one of those singer-songwriters who doers everything himself, a true mufti-instrumentalist. This new tune was also recorded at Graham Wann’s studio in Shenzhen, China - which might just be one of the first pieces of music I've listened to (and loved) recorded in China. Here's to many more amazing songs, we feel he's only just warming up!
