Lancaster's very own Vex Message today have dropped their vibrant new single, "1 Big 1". The single is their first of 2022 and follows on from the equally sensational "No You Don't" and their breakthrough single "Data Regime".
"1 Big 1" has indie-rock sensibilities and chunky guitars mixed with the off-kilter alt-pop with plenty of BPM's to dance to.
Right as we kick things off, the band has this grand sound about them with the vocals generating a lot of hype, and then it bursts into life.
If you're a fan of Everything Everything and Franz Ferdinand then "1 Big 1" is the lovechild of both bands, you've got the indie-rock sensibilities and chunky guitars mixed with the off-kilter alt-pop with plenty of BPM's to dance to.
With three singles down (and a b-side too) it sounds like this trio are going to be around for a while!
