Falkirk's Primes have recently released their stadium-ready single, "Paper In The Rain", and what an intro to the band this is! They've been releasing tracks since 2018 with this new tune being their 14th release on Spotify to date (with a couple of acoustic versions of songs added in there too to show off their relaxing side).
I don't know what the deal is with Scottish bands releasing anthems but I shouldn't complain at all, and "Paper In The Rain" is one of those tracks that sounds like it's been written for the big stages. Vocally Primes' lead vocalist reminds me of Stereophonics in places with the vocal tones he reaches, backed up are some delightful tones from Sarah - all the while adding more depth to the track.
Musically it's a fantastic slice of what the band is about, and the video is a cinematic affair too - shot on the side of a mountain with some soft filters used to set the mood. To check out the track (and video too) head on down below.
