Black Pixels return with expansive new offering, "Tides"

Quintet Black Pixels today return with their expansive new offering, "Tides", which acts as the second single following on from their debut single "Hurricane". The new cut from the post-pop band is a little bit more quirky than the debut single, with this single having some delightfully charming acoustic elements - namely the kalimbas.

Vocally "Tides" is just as good as the previous track with Alanah showcasing why the band are a rising band on the London music scene, add in some reverb-laden guitar tones and the song is borderline dream-pop with how shimmering and sun-kissed it is.

If you're a fan of the more relaxed Foals tunes, The XX and commanding vocals much like what you hear in Warpiant - then Black Pixels' new single is certainly for you.

The new cut is out as of today - released via their own imprint label B REC - and is set to feature on their debut EP which is due to be released after Summer 2022, so if you're already pining for more tracks then you've not got too long to wait.
