Brighton's Inky Nite return with new synth-pop bop "Dream Totem"

Brighton's Inky Nite has returned with their brand new synth-pop bop "Dream Totem", the new single also is their second of the year following on from "Raya". With love from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and BBC Radio 6 Music amongst others, this is already shaping out to be a winner.

Originally Inky Nite was started as a 'lockdown project', but since the times of 'the pandemic' are slowly but surely going into recent memory the duo are still pushing out singles, and this latest one is a synth-pop bop with a slightly dark edge to it.

We've got plenty of haunting backing vocals, and thick and crunchy synth tones all balanced off with charming tones found on the biggest alt-pop tunes of the 80s, even the drum pads towards the latter half of the track got me brooding.

"Dream Totem" is one of those tracks that we can't get enough of, it's fresh but still gives us that nostalgic vibe. So be sure to head down below and give it a listen, and when you're done do be sure to check out their previous releases for more!
