SKIES return with new single "Deconstruction"

Having personally fed SKIES back at the end of 2020 (long story) the duo have returned with the first piece of new music since the release of their 2021 EP "It's Not the End of the World".

The new single was funded by the duo touring their fans gardens in the Summer of 2020 and they even enlisted Oz Craggs (Neck Deep, As Everything Unfolds) to produce the tune to get it to that next level.

"Deconstruction" opens up with some glitchy synths and Allie's commanding vocals, it all sounds like an anthem for a new breed of superhumans with all of the electronics, but as soon as you get lulled into it the whole track explodes into life.

The track becomes huge, with the track getting laced with some sweet sweet basslines and drumbeats that fill up every crevice with big chunks of noise. The guitars have a slight 00s indie-pop vibe to them and get equally as huge in the final half of the single.  With well over a million streams of their music on Spotify alone - and many more on YouTube - the band sounds like they've written this one so they can get the attention of the big labels!
