Zoe Guigueno releases soothing new single, "Queen Of My Domain"

Zoe Guigueno has returned with her first track since her 2020 album "Secret Admirer". The new track is titled "Queen Of My Domain" and acts as the first taste of music from her forthcoming album "We Were Radar Stations", and if this is an example of what to expect it's going to be one LP chock full of soothing soft-rock.
"Queen Of My Domain" has some tremendous folk elements mixed in with soft rock moments and wonderfully smooth vocals.

Hailing from Vancouver Island in Canada she also is a graduate of the jazz program at Humber College in Toronto which in turn means that she has some incredibly scenery to influence her and to help create this expansive sound she's crafted. There is no doubt that "Queen Of My Domain" has some tremendous folk elements mixed in with soft rock moments and wonderfully smooth vocals - and considering this is the first single lifted off her new album I'm sure that we will be hearing more from her in the coming months.

Speaking about the new track Zoe mentions - " ... "Queen Of My Domain" was written as a Secret Santa gift for and about my aunt. I had always found bits of poetry in her emails to me, and so along with the framework of her life story, this song came easily. My aunt is a truck driver in the lower mainland of BC, and one of the only women in her workplace. The song speaks of her quest for autonomy, and in a larger sense celebrates women’s independence and empowerment."

So if you like your softer side of rock and folk then be sure to listen to Zoe Guigueno's stunning new "Queen Of My Domain" now.
