Hailing from the Black Country in the heart of England we have Giant and the Georges, and today marks the release of their sensational new single, "Maybe Baby". The single lead-on from their strong outing back in July, "Dance Monkey" was also a strong outing and and carries on the band's trademark swagger.

Vocally it's got the aforementioned swagger but with commanding tones, much like a hybrid of DMA's Placebo with how atmospheric they are. Instrumentally I find they have a big influence of late Brit-Pop acts and the early 2000s
In "Maybe Baby" we've got big Oasis-sounding guitar riffs with crashing drums washing over them. It's a slow jam of an anthem with a soaring chorus that's laced with delicate guitar tones, which twang almost frighteningly in places giving it a somewhat haunting vibe.
