Nova Hall shares dark and charging new single, "So Close"

Nova Hall, a London singer-songwriter, has recently released her brand new single, "So Close," which is accompanied by a b-side "Life In Slow Motion" (which was also her previous single) and is only her fifth tune ever released since her debut effort "We Are Here" in 2018.

What Nova Hall has done here is create an upbeat dark-rock track with plenty of indie tones to get every single hipster and music critic falling head over heels.

"So Close" includes several really haunting and spine-tingling moments, including an incredibly high and washed-out guitar noise backed up by drops of electrically charged drumming in the prelude. More chunky guitars emerge during the chorus, and you're confronted with a sleek dark-pop track that's growing before your eyes (and ears). The vocal hooks in the chorus are fantastic, reminding me of Alice Glass in places.

What Nova Hall has done here is create an upbeat dark-rock track with plenty of indie tones to get every single hipster and music critic falling head over heels. The new single is lifted from her forthcoming debut EP and will be out via Indigo Noise - so be sure to follow her on Spotify and on social channels to make sure you don't miss out on it.
