2022 could easily be the defining year for Camens, they were a band who have been around since 2017 but boy has the past 11 months seen them release a string of cracking singles. From the April release of "Poltergeist" onwards it saw them get close to 100k streams - and do they deserve it, oh golly gosh yes.
... it won't be long before they're selling out venues up and down the UK.
The new offering is more of the same and "I Concede To Worrying" opens up with Scott's awesome vocals with a guitar tone that you'd expect to hear in a West Coast rap kinda track with its effects. Once the track gets going it's soaring anthemic rock and roll with plenty of hooks to get you latched in.
It has a subtle darker undertone but with the chorus being ever so danceable I can easily see this being a great closer to their sets for years to come. With the band getting bigger with every release it won't be long before they're selling out venues up and down the UK.
Speaking about the band - "We've never been a political band. I'm not an on-the-nose political songwriter. That said, many artists I love have been - Dylan, Lennon, Strummer, etc. That's where Worrying came from. So many people live in perpetual worry now. Working full-time for a wage that just about covers bills, leaving them with no real life or time to grow, relax, or invest in themselves or their families".
