Released just less than two weeks ago Rob Lea has returned with his latest single, "Time of my life". The new cut is yet another genre transformation and sees him dabble more towards indie-rock. Rob is the sort of chap that likes to mix it up, and we even mentioned that in our previous review but here it sounds like he might've found the sound to focus on.
"Time of my life" is an out and out indie-rock anthem with sing-a-long worthy arena filling vocals
We've got his stunning vocals adorning the track from the get-go and to be honest you get hooked, and as the track progresses you hear more elements come in. It's the bridge around the 40 second mark when you hear some indie-rock sounding guitars with a smattering of sparkly sounds for an added boost - something similar to Bloc Party's "Banquet" with how it's structured.
The latter half of the track is an out and out indie-rock anthem with sing-a-long worthy arena filling vocals, Rob Lea might just have his biggest track now out for the world to discover.
