Austrian singer-songwriter SHA-N last week revealed her new single, "Amahoro", which is only her second ever single. The new offering is the latest to be lifted from her forthcoming debut EP "5th Dimension".
Speaking about the song she mentions - "It´s a song about mistrust the other person and not knowing if its love or if it´s toxic."
Dark and atmospheric, just how we like it!
It's clear to see right away that SHA-N means business, you've got her soulful and bold vocals dominating proceedings from the off. Backed up with thick synth lines and strong percussion that reminds me of an army marching forwards.
Much like an army marching the track get's a bit more angsty as it evolves with some very alt-pop electronic sounds heard (something like Glass Animals), her vocals get more atmospheric too and by the halfway point you're hooked.
It's a very dark alt-pop tune with an undertone that would do very well in a Eurovision contest for example, if you like this then be sure to follow her to be in the know when her EP drops.
