Melbourne based quartet Tin Pot Clay Man just last week revealed their breezy new cut, "Sometimes I Go Outside". The single is their third release of the year, and follows on from their EP "What Will They Think? and previous single "MTV".
if you're looking to explore yet another fantastic band from down under then look no further than Tin Pot Clay Man.
The foursome have kept the same sound as the previous few releases and it's a shimmering blend of surf-pop and psychedelia. The vocals on "Sometimes I Go Outside" are so breezy it reminds me a bit of Kevin Parker mixed with Brian Wilson.
Instrumentally we've got jangly guitars that wouldn't sound out of place in a The Smiths track, smooth basslines to warm the cockles of your heart and a drum set that's tying it all together to ensure that you'll be falling in love with "Sometimes I Go Outside" in no time.
The latest single "Sometimes I Go Outside" is backed up with a B-side, which as it goes is their previous single, "MTV". So if you're looking to explore yet another fantastic band from down under then look no further than Tin Pot Clay Man.
