Having broke out with his debut track "Bitter Morning" at the tail end of September, Touray is now back with another new tune. "Where I'm Going" is the new single from the Londoner and is a more mature sound from the rising singer-songwriter.
Two songs down and Touray is making waves, we're loving the mid 2000s tones of "Where I'm Going".
Opening up the tune is rushing drums filled with layered up guitars which have plenty of fuzz and warmth about them. Vocally Touray reminds me a lot of Julian Casablancas in the early days of The Strokes, moody and yet somehow upbeat with the listener feeling like they already know the lyrics they're so smooth.
That's one artist I'd happily compare the sound of Touray's new single to, The Strokes, there's a slight NYC vibe to it - maybe that's what living in a cosmopolitan city does to you. Speaking about the track Touray mentions - "This energetic yet melancholic Indie Rock song narrates the story of myself trying to find direction after another year has passed me by."
Two songs down and Touray is making waves, so do be sure to follow his journey as he could be a big name in years to come.
