Band of the Year drops new single, "Money Talks"

Band of the Year has today dropped their brand new single, "Money Talks", which is their first slice of music since March of 2022. It sounds like they've been locked away and have returned with a banger by how powerful it is.

Band of the Year sound like the real deal, and if their next batch of tracks are like this then they could be making big strides in their local scene.

"Money Talks" keeps their slightly lo-fi rock and roll feel with hazy guitars on top of one another and vocal tones that reminds us of Art Brut crossed with the yelps of Franz Ferdinand.  Speaking about the new single the band says - "This song has what you need to succeed in hating the 1% and everything they stand for!"

The track is lifted off a forthcoming EP which they managed to record all in just a day, helping to give it that raw rock'n'roll feel to it.  The outfit is a duo comprised of Lewis George (lead vocals, guitar, bass) and Ben K Adams (lead vocals, guitar) with other artists joining them on a track-by-track basis, which just helps to keep things fresh as a zip-loc bag.
