Joanie unveils her new single, "Your Kind Of Freak"

London-based artist Joanie has today unveiled her brand new single, "Your Kind Of Freak", which acts as her third release since she started dropping tunes back in October of 2022. The new release is an incredibly vibrant affair with vocals upon vocals opening up the song before they part ways for her ethereal tones to come bowling through. 

It's clear to hear that Joanie is channeling some nostalgic vibes here, and with a seductive backdrop of instrumentation it's highly addictive. 


The deep and broody synth tones remind me partially of Eurythmics with how anthemic they feel, and with the percussion feeling like it's been lifted from a 1980s tune this track certainly gives you the big nostalgia vibes.

The track is backed up with two more tracks on the single release - which were her previous two releases - so if you want more tracks such as this then Joanie has more where that came from. It's clear to hear that Joanie is channeling some nostalgic vibes here, and with a seductive backdrop of instrumentation it's highly addictive.
