The Drunk Astronomer shares exciting new EP, "Octopi"

Hailing from Yorkshire, The Drunk Astronomer has today shared their exciting new EP, "Octopi". The Drunk Astronomer is the solo project of Nathan Fox and is the first EP to be released under this pseudonym, as he has previously released music back in the mid 2000's.

The EP is a very cohesive affair and it's something that The Drunk Astronomer can truly be proud of!

Recorded in Church Lane Studios the EP is four tracks long that is a blend of shoegaze, psych-pop and folk. The first track is the tender offering - which we've reviewed before - followed swiftly on with the Radiohead sounding The Manager.

The second half of the EP is comprised of the quirky track "El Gato", which showcases his alt-pop side and channels his inner Tame Impala it seems. The closing track, "Her Hair (Is The Colour a Sunset)" is one of those classic closing tracks, cinematic, big and grand sounding which will have you pining for more.

The EP is a very cohesive affair and it's something that The Drunk Astronomer can truly be proud of!
