Stockholm's AMONG THE MASSES have shared their incredibly dark new offering, "Wrong Turn", which is the four-piece's first track since they dropped "Lovers Lane" back in 2021. The new song sounds like it's been worth the two year wait as it reminds me of peak 80s synth-pop mixed with some darker elements.

The vocals here are so brooding, similar to that of Depeche Mode and New Order, but with a sheen that brings it more to life. Instrumentally we've got some space-inspired keyboard tones which sounds like they've been lifted from a Marvel movie with some soaring guitars towards the latter end bookending the track which is jam-packed with swirling synths.
