Right out of Wales nestled in the capital city of Cardiff is one heck of a band, they're called HMS Morris and they have today released their second single of the year. Titled "House" it's the opening track off their album "Dollar Lizard Money Zombie" which will be released on Bubblewrap Records this year.
HMS Morris are one of the very best that are emerging out of the country as of late.
It's a very cinematic track with a delightful intro that hooks you in, almost a blend of Arctic Monkeys latest sound mixed with a gentle sprinkling of art-rock percussion. Now vocally this is absolutely sensation with tones that can pierce right onto your soul.
The guitars on here are rather big too with a chunky bassline underlining it all. There are so many great bands in Wales and HMS Morris are one of the very best that are emerging out from Cymru.
