Following on from the release of their debut album, "How To Be A God", London band The Bloodstreams has just dropped their big new single, "Jackie".
Opening up the song is some howling and slightly haunting vocals, shortly joined up by screeching guitars. Don't worry, it's not all like this as the track takes a slight turn for a slower tempo, focusing on the big vocals and some even bigger stadium-guitar tones.
Plenty of hooks to sink your teeth into.
As the track progresses it becomes clearer that this track may just be lifted from the 1980s in an alternative reality it's that huge. "Jackie" is backed up with a b-side on the release, "Jackie No9", which is a more alternative take on the single, offering the listener some more music to sink their teeth into.
