Carson Aday unveils his new nostalgic single "Fade Away"

Hailing from Dallas, TX is Carson Aday unveils and just a few days ago saw the singer-songwriter release his new nostalgic single "Fade Away". The single is his just his third since the release of his "Midnight on a Flower Moon" album back in 2021, and is a fine return to form for the artist.

"Fade Away" is just one of those delightful songs that whenever you hear it you'll just want to delve in head first, no skipping just pure musical joy.

As soon as the track starts you're greeted with a upbeat drum-kick and a warm but inviting guitar looping around your ears. His vocals on this are very dreamy, with nods to Hozier perhaps as they've got so much range.

The track hit home a bit for me as it took me back to the early 2000s when there was an abundance of rising indie acts in the UK, and Carson's vocal tones alone gave me that nostalgic feel that I've been searching for. That and the fact that there are some instrumental similarities with Radiohead and Air Traffic on this song.

"Fade Away" is just one of those delightful songs that whenever you hear it you'll just want to delve in head first, no skipping just pure musical joy.
