Lilo Powder releases their emotive new single, "Sun Sets Just Like Heaven"

Rising Swedish duo - Lilo Powder - have released their emotive new single, "Sun Sets Just Like Heaven", just last Friday and even though they're a relatively new band don't let that take anything away from what is a fantastic and cinematic single.
It's a smooth blend of the Alt-Rock Radiohead sounds and the cinematic sounds of Cigarettes After Sex.

It comes in at under three minutes long but it's packed with emotive vocals right from the get-go, layered up with some dreamy guitars and cascading drums. There is so much atmosphere here I believe it could easily find it's way onto a Hollywood film's soundtrack as it can easily capture your ears within a few seconds of being played.

Speaking about the release Lilo Powder say - "This song is about believing in yourself, embrace life's nuances and explore the beauty of living between the lines." The track is backed up with the B-side "Clearing TwoSisxtyTwo" so if you liked what you heard be sure to not skip this slice of post-rock too.

If I were to compare their sound against some familiar bands I'd say it's a blend of Radiohead and Cigarettes After Sex.
