Back with his second release of the year is Yorkshire's Jack Simpson and his track, "Crucifix Of San Damiano". The single follows on from "Trees", a single which saw him get a decent amount of placements on playlists. The somewhat nostalgic nature of the track showcases Jack's influences, which musically is Bruce Springsteen and in other regards nature and people around him.
Jack Simpson is one of those under-the-radar artists that with the right exposure can be big.
Jack is somewhat of an enigma with no bio on Spotify, no live performances available to watch and he doesn't even perform live, at all. So that may be why the track is incredibly wholesome, you're getting everything from Jack and we love him for that.
Vocally strong with some soaring moments of guitar, it seems that Jack Simpson is one of those under-the-radar artists that with the right exposure can be big. So if you like what you hear be sure to follow him on the socials!
