Following on from their 8-track long release "Fragments" is Alterlight with their Winter-sounding new single, "One Night Away". Released towards the latter end of the year this has a very distinct Winter feel to it, perhaps straddling enough into the Christmas song territory to be included, but not enough that you can only listen to it at certain point of the year.
"One Night Away" is a great example of a track that can transcend every month of the year and still feel relevant, it's such a gem to listen to.
The track is a wonder to listen to, very clean and crisp - much like a Winter morning in Eastern Europe - with some vocals that can transcend any season of the year to calm you down.
The addition of jingles and delicate percussion only enhances the track and almost solidifies it as a Winter track to get cozy with. Speaking about the track the band says - "The lyrics evoke the essence of friendship and family support, offering a warm reminder of these values."
