Hailing from Heverlee in Belgium is the rising Echomoon and just a few days ago they revealed their debut new single, "Kids Are Cruel". The project is the brainchild of Mona Echo and is a fantastic slice of post-punk with edgy vocal hooks and energetic guitar chords.

"Kids Are Cruel" is the debut single and what this offers to the listener is a blank canvas of expectation, but what that does in the end is hype you up as there are fantastic guitar chords and tones left right, and center. Vocally it's much like the modern punk tracks, on the slower-paced side but as equally as powerful with some backing vocals to bring in plenty of atmosphere and scuzz.
Speaking about the song Echomoon says - "I am non-binary and what people think about that is their problem. I have fought too long to let that affect me anymore. I always tried to adapt myself to others and hide my ADHD (they call it "masking") and that made me very unhappy. As a full-blooded ADHD'er, I cannot and will not choose just one thing, I am a creative jack-of-all-trades and love fashion. I often make my clothes myself and enjoy reinventing myself every day".
