Paul Marotto releases "Anthem for the Forgotten", his nostalgic new single

Right out of the Philadelphia scene is Paul Marotto and last month saw the singer-songwriter release "Anthem for the Forgotten", his nostalgic new single.

Atmospheric and dark, it a wonderful blend of swirling sounds, if you're a Radiohead fan you'll love this.

Paul Marotto is one of those true singer-songwriters, doing everything on his own, and the results speak for themselves. The new cut sounds rather relaxed and chilling from the start, but as you hear the track progress you hear it become grander and grander.

First, the drums fill up more of the track, and the piano tones are more prominent but it's around the 100-second mark the synth tone makes an appearance, and from there, the sound is getting layered up. Distorted guitars give a haunting wash to the track, with it sounding like a Radiohead track in places.
