Following on from their first release comprised of demos, titled "Demos - EP", back in 2022 Head Sound has recently dropped and released their soaring new single, "Like A Painting". It's a track that's on the long side but what you're presented with is over four and a half minutes of soaring guitar sounds, charismatic drum fills, and vocals that can take you to the next level.
If you're looking for a new Shoegaze act to get lost in then might I suggest Head Sound, this new track is just sensational.
Almost as soon as it starts the track is filled with lots of atmosphere, and seemingly seconds later the main guitar comes in like a charging Formula One car. It's bold and what it ends up doing is giving me chills flowing down my spine. Vocally it's like the best shoegaze acts have all agreed on a formula of how to sing, it's downright atmospheric and helps to bind the track together.
