Just before we headed into a short break over the Easter holidays Goddamn Wolves dropped their slick new single, "Nowhere", which is their second release of the year.
With the band having a solid bunch of musical influences it's honestly no surprise they ended up with a cohesive sound like this, be sure to follow them for more great songs in the coming months!
The band are based out of Raleigh, NC and what hits you right from the off is a jangly blend of sounds which takes you back to the sounds of The Smiths and Weezer, two big bands that defined their respective eras.
The melodies within "Nowhere" are incredibly catchy and when you combine it with the ever-present guitar tones it's no wonder the trio want to release this, it can easily be their biggest tune to date.
With both female and male vocals heard on the song, it gives the track a whole new dimension versus if it was one or the other.
