London-based singer-songwriter SATRE has recently unveiled their nostalgic new single, "homebound", with it being his fifth since first dropping his debut cut back in 2021. Even though SATRE is a new artist in some respects it honestly feels like he should be selling out venues all up and down the UK.
A downright folk anthem for the summer.
The drive of the track is absolutely sensational and upbeat with some comparisons drawn against Icelandic superstars Of Monsters and Men and Britsh legends Mumford & Sons.
Vocally it's mesmerising and with a smattering of hazy backing vocals it adds plenty more character to what already is a track that can quite easily captivate the most casual of folk fans. I can easily see this track getting a lot of playtime over the coming months as the sun kisses most of the world and the weather is warm as this has the words 'summer anthem' written all over it.
