Coming out of the ever-strong scene down in Bristol, UK is STELL, and just the other day the outfit shared their new track, "Don't Wanna Get Out Of Bed". The single acts as their debut outing and as far as we can hear it could be one of those moments where a debut track takes the scene by storm.
If you like the nostalgic tones of heavier alt-rock music from the 1990s then STELL may just be the band you've been waiting for all these years.
The frantic nature of the track reminds me of the more upbeat 90s garage-rock bands, and when it comes to the vocals we're feeling the same way as we did when we first laid our ears on Royel Otis - a sense of 'oh jeez'. The track doesn't hold back and is rather unapologetic, but the trade-off of that is that STELL is raw and honest with you, giving you as a new listener the full force of their sound.
If you like early Muse, Royel Otis and the nostalgic tones of heavier alt-rock music from the 1990s then STELL may just be the band you've been waiting for all these years - and what's even better is that this is a solo project, so I can easily see them being next level on the live scene.
