Moon Date shares their new anthem, "Maze"

Moon Date is a quintet from Detroit, MI and they have in the past week returned with their second-ever single. Titled "Maze" it's a charging rock anthem that takes influence from multiple eras of rock, but what it does is give the band a refined sound.

It's nostalgic and modern at the same time, we personally can't wait to hear more from this exciting new band!

One thing to notice from the outset is the thick and pulsating synth, it reminds me of The Killers with the track heading straight after into a thick wash of 80s guitar sounds that the likes of Dire Straights wouldn't be afraid to put their name to.

The vocals are downright anthemic, they made me feel all warm and fuzzy from the get-go, and when you listen to this for the first time it's full-on thrill. The whole song from start to finish is filled with high-tempo percussion, thrilling swirls of guitar and sonic vocals, so be ready to get stuck into this!
