Based out of the amazing Vancouver is In The Afterglow, and just a few weeks ago shared their debut single, "Lives In Tandem". It's since the release it's gone on to get plenty of praise and a lot of placements on Spotify playlists - for good reason too.

In The Afterglow is the solo-project of British-Canadian music producer Alfred Hermida, and to say that he's hit the ground running with his tune is something else!
The way that "Lives In Tandem" starts off is with an incredibly cinematic sheen, there are soaring guitars mixed with soothing vocals that feel almost as if they're touching voices beyond.
The pacing of the percussion is also set just so that you're engaged, and perfectly so that your foot will be tapping along to the tempo. The anthemic and cinematic breakdown in the middle is a stroke of genius too, the way this made me feel gave me shivers.
