Hailing from Devon in the UK is Jacre, the solo project of singer-songwriter Julian Ransom, and recently he has released his brand new single, "Only Love Could Be So Blind". One thing that hits you almost instantly is how tender and smooth the track is. Jacre's vocals are sensational and are on the verge of angelic, the way they come across it sounds like a ballad from the 1990s.

Once the track gets going the guitar and percussion brings it to life, it's not high-tempo but the pacing of the drums is brilliant in the chorus. Speaking about the song Jacre mentions - "The lyrics focus on being out in nature, noticing that there are subtle things wrong, with a growing realisation that the wrongness is with the person you love."
The sound for me is a blend of Acoutic-Rock, Folk and with some brushes of Alt-Rock vocal tones. It's no wonder that BBC Introducing has championed him and why his tunes have got over 200k plays on Spotify!
