J.J. Chamberlain returns with jangly single, "Thoughts"

York-based J.J. Chamberlain has today returned with his jangly single, "Thoughts", which is looking to build upon his stunning debut single "Eyeballs" - released back in April of this year. As soon as we pressed play for the first time we thought he was transitioning into a country artist, much like Post Malone, but those warm tones ended up being more jangly-natured with some memories of early 2000's indie bands coming to me.

A jangly-natured dream-pop track.

Speaking of the track he mentions - " ... "Thoughts" was born out of an earth-shattering tragedy, but it raises its head. It is very much a mental health anthem posing as a pop song."

The very fun intro bleeds into an upbeat first verse with Chamberlain's smooth vocals once again flowing over the track like maple syrup. They're so sweet and bold with plenty of chances in the track for you to latch onto for a good old sing-along.

With a cracking amount of strong riffs, vibrant bursts of guitars, bold basslines and a drumbeat that'll have you ready to get your feet tapping, this is certainly an epic track from a solo artist who's (strangely only) on his second-ever single!
