Swedish duo Purple Stone last Friday released their epic new single, "I’m The One", and when I say epic I mean it! The track kicks off with this brooding bassline that gets synthy by the second, shortly after that the drums kick in and some incredibly dreamy vocals come in. The swaggering synths are a key element to why we loved this on the first play, and with those reverb-heavy guitars giving the track more bite it certainly went down with us! I got big The Stone Roses vibes off this, and in places, it reminded me of the more psychedelic sounds that Noel Gallagher has been making lately.
