Dan Cook today has shared his debut single, "When The Morning Comes", and right from the get-go, it's fantastic to hear that the track launches with a strong indie-rock guitar tone.
A banger of a debut track, be prepared for one heck of a ride!
If you're always on the hunt for good new tunes then this intro alone will sure to get your blood rushing, and of course, your feet stomping. Vocally it's anthemic and when it hits the chorus it reminds me of The Courteeners mixed with Sam Fender, the sheer vocal tones on offer will entice you into singing along back in no time.
The pacing of the track is flawless, to say that about a debut track is usually reserved for the absolute bangers in the genre, and I tell you this for free... this is! Dan Cook has quite literally burst onto the scene in the UK, and if he releases more tunes to the same level as this then he could be rising faster than the very best out there.
