Hailing from Philadelphia is James Haro In Storage with his strong new outing, "City Terrace". The new single comes as a part of his new three-track release, "GO AHEAD", and is his second since his debut single came out back in 2023.
There is a very distinct warm guitar that kicks things off as soon as you start the track, and with an upbeat drumbeat supporting it there's certainly plenty of reasons to keep on listening.
Punk leaning and very alt-rock, a real kaleidoscope of sounds.
James's vocals are very punk-leaning and with the acoustic nature of the song we are getting Frank Turner flashbacks from when we saw him live at Glastonbury in the late 2010s. There are some smooth 80s guitar chords on here that wouldn't sound out of place on a track by The Cure, strong violin sounds mixed with synty tones that the likes of The Killers would love to call their own.
In short what James Haro In Storage has done is create a kaleidoscope of sounds that anyone from the 'indie' spectrum would love, just be sure to listen to the closing minute, it's the type of sound that can get you signed by labels!
