SWAN drops their new anthem, "The Fall"

Late last month saw SWAN release their new track, "The Fall", which is their first single since 2023's "Chasing The Sun". The new track from the Sheffield-based quintet is jam-packed with plenty of guitars that flow over one another like a kaleidoscope.

A pure indie-rock earworm of song.

Guitar bands tend to always do well if they're coming out of Sheffield, with Arctic Monkeys and Bring Me the Horizon doing wonders for the scene in their own way. It to sounds like SWAN may be the latest band to break out from the scene onto the big stage, as the track we have before us sounds mega.

Vocally it's incredibly strong and with multiple layers of guitar and bass working its way into your veins, it sits on the addictive end of the indie spectrum. The track is a bit more on the darker and edgier side of things with elements lifted from the 90s grunge scene perhaps, and what this does is inject a retro flavour that I feel like helped the track get into my head like an earworm
