Czechia's finest The Winter Sounds are back with their brand new tune, "Not Everything is a Song", and riding high from the release of "Cottagecore" it sounds like the Czech trio have plenty more up their sleeves.
A track that'll act as a great gateway into their forthcoming album, one to get hooked into that's for sure.
The bold new offering kicks things off with a mighty smooth piano that gives way to a funky new wave-sounding guitar. The percussion on here is rather tight too and it feels almost like a B-side from The Beatles as it's so crisp and vocally clean too.
The single is the last to be released from the band before their new album drops later this week (October 11th), and speaking of the track the band says - " ... "Not Everything is a Song" is about the sublime that exists in little moments of togetherness with friends or lovers or family, even the animals that we love and care for."
The track is a truly delightful slice of indie-rock with melodic moments that make me think of Phoenix in places, we can't wait for the album to be released as everything they've released leading up to it - including this - has been magical.
