When a band opens up their press release with the line - "So good, you will tell your mom you went to school with us." - you know you're going to have to check them out, and indeed we did.
There is a solid amount of hype behind these lads, so jump on board!
Emergency Break is based out of London and right from the get-go, they have this deep and moody sound that brings us back to the mid-2000s indie scene in the UK. Vocally it's moody with tones similar to that of Arctic Monkeys.
Once the track breaks cover fully it's a frantic mixture of grunge, post-punk and angsty vocals mixed with angular sounds. If you grew up in the UK during the 2000s then this is going to be a sound you're going to love, and love it we did.
With plenty of gigs under their belts, they sold out The Camden Assembly (previously BarFly) after only being together for six months, so there is a solid amount of hype behind these lads, so jump on board now!
