Harpa has returned with her moody new cut, "What the Hell", and it's her second outing of 2024 following on from her single, "Gone".
Plenty of emotion and swagger.
The new cut is filled with plenty of emotion within the vocals, and to be honest for me it's what makes the song. The tones on offer are filled with emotion and power, with the backing vocals helping to add more depth to the single.
The chorus alone is filled with plenty of swagger-laden instrumentation with a clean percussion section backed up with moody guitar tones that'll have you brooding in no time. It's great to see an artist dabble in sub-genres, as this is more of a blues-driven track and the previous was a bit more nu-metal leaning, one thing is clear, Harpa is going to be making waves and it's just a matter of time.
