Chicago's Tinvís recently has unveiled their dark and moody new single, "Double Blind", and the track is the type that'll work it's way into your head and soul on the first play.
Dark and moody alt-pop, just the way we like it!
A mixture of piano keys, dark vocals and a crisp percussive section means that you may also get that 2000s Radiohead feel coming at you. With a cinematic string entering the fold around the one-minute mark, the whole track gets taken up a notch and it's here it feels even more cohesive.
The lovely smattering of alt-pop quirks such as the synth tones is a welcome addition as this gives "Double Blind" that glimpse of sunshine while the rest of the track sits in the dark. Vocally this is incredible with a tone that'll have you hanging in until the very end.
The new single is the first single from their upcoming album "Texnia", which is due to be released in early summer 2025 on vinyl, cassette, digital and streaming.
