Dubai in the UAE is known for a lot of things, but never knew they had a music scene there until I heard the new cut from Zarooni. "Traffic" is his new single and is a great example of an artist doing wonderful things while being 'hidden away' in a corner of the world that seemingly gets overlooked when it comes to new alternative music.

"Traffic" is so upbeat from the outset, it's got an addictive feel with the shimmering keyboard sounds doing a lot for me in terms of getting me hooked.
Some nice tribal-sounding drum beats are in the early stages of the song too, but once it really gets going it's more of a classic indie-pop tune with an underlying roots feel to it. It's almost like if Tame Impala made a collab with Mumford & Sons, it perfectly straddles genres without isolating you too much.
