Coming out of the London scene is singer-songwriter Henry Nielsen, and at the back-end of 2024 it saw him release his single, "Teddy". The track is a part of the wider "Business Parter" EP (that came out a week later) and it's one of the highlights of the release in my humble opinion.
... if you like tender folk-tinted acoustic tunes then be sure to give Henry Nielsen and "Teddy" a listen.
So, "Teddy", it's a comprehensive track that showcases all of Henry's strengths. The vocals he has reminds me a lot of The Beatles towards the end of their career, mixed in with a subtle folky tone that the likes of Ben Howard is famed for.
The raw appeal of his vocals for me is a main reason why we listened to his single more than once, and even on the first play I knew I'd be spending more time with his tones. So if you like tender folk-titned acoustic tunes then be sure to give Henry Nielsen and "Teddy" a listen.
