Amsterdam-based singer-songwriter Daniel de Boer has recently released his strong new single, "Beside Me". The new cut acts as his first to be lifted from his forthcoming EP, "The Turnaround" and as far as we're concerned, it sounds like he's up to wonderful things.
It comes after his debut album came out back in 2023, and right from the intro you can see why there's been a lot of hype behind him. Vocally, he is mesmerising, and with the moody strings added into the mix the whole track has this warm undertone that'll carry you all the way from a casual listener into a fan within it's four-minute runtime.
It's such a gentle track blending aspects of folk, acoustic rock, and elements of indie-pop, with it safe to say that this may be the track that'll get him more plaudits.
