Back with their fourth single of the year, it's San Francisco-based signer-songwriter Michellar with the cinematic new single, "Home Sweet Home" - and let me spoil it a bit, the track sounds like it needs a million plays it's that good!
... a cinematic, heart-soaring anthem packed with ethereal vocals, soaring guitars, and Coldplay-esque sounds swirling around.
Opening up the single, it's a charming organ paving the way, and when the soft vocals come in it elevates it to heaven and beyond. There's so much more to the track and as you'll soon find out with the addition of soaring guitar tones that reminds me of the likes of Morning Parade and Bloc Party.
The gentle chorus is backed up with an acoustic guitar and the backing vocals has some sweet and soothing female vocals that gives it that soft edge the track needs. With Michellar citing the likes of Coldplay in their influences, it's no wonder the track is a cinematic affair with heartfelt vocals.
