Yes Chris drops their new garage-rock tune, "Barnsley Market"

Coming out of the ever-strong Cambridge music scene, it's Yes Chris with their new garage-rock tune, "Barnsley Market". Having been nominated for a couple of NMG Awards (an organisation that champions music from the Cambridge and East Anglia region), they're looking to build upon that with some strong new cuts.

raw, moody garage-rock with post-punk depth!

The sounds on offer reminded me a lot of the British rock scene when I was fully getting into the more deeper and darker sounds, with this song especially giving me Nine Black Alps sounds mixed with more moodier Post-Punk tones. I can easily see why they've been doing so well, and when the solitary guitar comes in at the end of the first chorus I was left with some goosebumps.

Clearly the band know their strengths and play to them so damn well. With "Barnsley Market," Yes Chris prove they're a force to be reckoned with - gritty, gripping, and ready to make their mark, even sounding like classic Biffy Clyro towards the end too!
