Having somewhat got a rather mid-score of a 'D' on my GCSE French back in the 2000s it's been a while since I've listened to something in the French language on repeat.
... a vibrant French rework of Don't Make Me Laugh, packed with chunky guitars and indie-pop charm
That's exactly what's happened as the London-based artist, Chayne, has recently released her brand new single, "Ne Me Fais Pas Rire".We say new, it's more a re-recorrding of her song "Don't Make Me Laugh" for her French-speaking fans.
The song is very upbeat with a deliciously chunky guitar line that drives the track, and at its core it's an out and out indie-pop gem. Vocally it's great too, I can easily see this (and it's English language version) being sung back at her at her live shows.
