It’s safe to say we’re big fans of Richard Tyler Epperson, so when we caught wind of his new track, Like Everything Else, we just had to delve into it.
... a genre-blending whirlwind—Radiohead-esque guitars, Imagine Dragons energy, and a funky undertone that hits deep.
Released today (March 25th), it’s a sweeping tune that blends multiple genres within the first minute. From the sweeping guitar sound reminiscent of Radiohead to the direct and upbeat vocal tones akin to Imagine Dragons, the track carries a funky undertone that sends shivers through our veins.
Once it fully kicks in, it becomes a whirlwind of sounds colliding in the most magical way. Speaking about the track, he says: "... it explores love, work, and lost dreams. With ethereal melodies and raw emotion, it captures the weight of self-doubt and the fight to hold on."
Every time, we say this is his best song yet—but this could truly be his greatest. And if his future releases are even half as good as this, we’re in for a treat. So, do everyone (and Richard) a favour—give Like Everything Else a listen before it hits a million streams on Spotify!
