Sirenglas drops the nostalgic debut cut, "Dance With Me (In Oblivion)"

Based out of Vancouver (the hub of Alt music in Canada in my opinion) is Sirenglas with their stunning debut effort, "Dance With Me (In Oblivion)". With less than 100 monthly listeners at the time of writing, we are predicting this artist to blow up on the scene, and not just locally, worldwide.

... a brooding post-punk gem blending Joy Division’s nostalgia with Molchat Doma’s modern edge.

One thing we loved from the very start was incredibly nostalgic with big whiffs of Joy Division mixed with more modern takes on the genre, think Molchat Doma.

The strong post-punk sound is hard to shake here, and with the vocals offering plenty of depth and emotional connection for the listener, it'll be hard not to stay listening intently even on the first play (like we did).

The scorched guitars in the breakdowns were tremendous, and balanced off with the moody-come-thick bassline it leaves a lingering sound within your head, ensuring that you'll be humming the song for a good few hours after listening to it.
